San Printech Organises Flexible Electronics Seminar in Mumbai
26 February 2026: A Flexible Electronics Seminar was held at The Club, Mumbai on 22nd January 2026. The full-day session was organised by San Printech (P) Ltd. with a number of noteworthy speakers addressing an enthusiastic gathering of 75 industry colleagues and students. It was an opportunity to dive into various updates and possibilities in the said field going ahead.
After the Registration and Welcome Tea, the Inaugural Address and Opening Remarks were delivered by Saurabh Newaskar, Director, San Printech (P) Ltd. He explained the rationale behind their organising the Flexible Electronics Seminar and also highlighted the growth opportunities in this segment. Special focus was given to how screen printing continues to be a reliable and scalable technology for functional layers such as conductive tracks, sensors and printed components
The presentations were curated on thought process of knowledge sharing with respect to various materials in use.
The first presentation was on ‘Innovative Mesh Solutions for Flexible Electronics’ by Hugo Gmür from Sefar AG Switzerland.
This was followed by insights on Advanced Screen Printing Emulsions & Coatings by Dirk Oelschläger from Kissel +Wolf GmbH, Germany.
As Corentin Chretien could not make it for seminar, San Printech team explained in brief to customers about Squeegee types and tools for precision squeegee cutting for better squeegee life.
Further to this just before lunch we learnt about Smart Screen from Andre, Grunig Signtronic showcasing how a perfect screen making not just gives better print output but also make it affordable in the long run.
After a quick break, Léonardo GIACOMINI from VFP Ink Technologies, France, spoke on Functional Inks for Flexible Electronics.
After taking a break for lunch, the seminar continued with Christoph Bosshard from Kimoto/Policrom addressing those gathered on Films & Substrates for Electronic Application.
These sessions helped attendees understand how mesh, emulsions, and squeegees directly influence print accuracy, repeatability, and yield in flexible electronics production. This was followed by a one-on-one Round Table Discussion between all the partners and attendees.
The seminar facilitated meaningful knowledge exchange among participants, offering practical insights into materials, processes, and technologies shaping the flexible electronics landscape. The interactive discussions highlighted growing industry readiness to adopt flexible and functional printing solutions, while also opening avenues for collaboration between technology providers, converters, and end users.
Saurabh Newaskar, Executive Director, San Printech, summed up the day’s proceedings through his Closing Remarks and then gave the Vote of Thanks.
The seminar concluded with the attendees and partners interacting informally over dinner.
