Seamless printing of wide-format textiles: Adding the “TS330-1800” to sublimation transfer printer lineup

13 January 2026: Mimaki Engineering Co. Ltd. is expanding its lineup of sublimation transfer inkjet printers with the “TS330” series. A new 1.9-meter-wide model, “TS330-1800” will be added, with sales commencing on January 2026.

The TS330 is Mimaki’s flagship textile printer, featuring a high-density, high-resolution printhead and our proprietary imaging technology. 1.6m-wide model “TS330-1600”, launched in 2022, has earned high praise across diverse production environments – including apparel, sports uniforms, interior fabrics and fabric signage – thanks to the high image quality and productivity delivered by its print engine.

Newly added TS330-1800 model supports a maximum print width of 1,940 mm. It inherits the high image quality and productivity established by TS330-1600 while meeting wider output needs.

Interior Fabric Applications: Capable of printing wide-width fabrics like curtains and tapestries on a single piece wide fabric, eliminating the need for sewing and complex pattern matching processes. Delivers the finishing value of seamless, one-piece construction only possible with large-format printing.

Sports Uniform Applications: When producing team uniforms, multiple sizes (S~XL) of body panels can be efficiently laid out side-by-side, increasing layout flexibility. The process of arranging player numbers and names also becomes smoother.

Furthermore, to expand design expression capabilities, Mimaki has added new violet and orange inks to the lineup. This enhances the reproducibility of rich blue-purple and vivid, high-contrast orange, enabling a broader color gamut. Additionally, fluorescent pink and fluorescent yellow inks with higher density are now available, delivering high visibility and color saturation for branding-focused applications like sportswear and fabric signage.

With a total of 11 ink colors including these new colors, users can select a color set of up to 8 colors tailored to their application. This configuration meets the diverse needs of the textile printing business, regardless of whether you use the 1.6m-wide or 1.9m-wide model.

The TS330-1800 is scheduled to go on sale starting January 2026. Combined sales of the TS330-1600 and TS330-1800 are projected to reach approximately 500 units annually (worldwide). Mimaki plans to progressively unveil the models through invitation-only exhibitions via sales network in Japan and overseas.
