Sudarshan Machinery Launches NextPrint 22 x 28 – Ergonomically Designed Screen Printer

23 April 2022: Sudarshan Machinery, Chennai, has launched Sudarshan NextPrint 22 x 28, an ergonomically designed semi-automatic screen printing machine with a unique design and a parallel screen frame movement system to avoid ink overflow and spillage. Sudarshan NextPrint 22×28 is a Made in India, user-comfort semi-automatic screen printing machine that runs without an expensive air compressor. It is single phase, plug and play, and easy to operate since there is no complex mechanism.

“Our machines are indigenously designed and manufactured. There are no Chinese parts or components. And critical components are imported from Europe. For the last lasting, the machine is built with high profile aluminium extrusion to give high friction mechanism. It has an internal lock mechanism for the vacuum bed to avoid jerks. It is built with special coating for corrosion-free,” says K. Sundar Raman, Director of Sudharshan Machinery, adding, “During the prolonged Covid-19 pandemic, there has been sluggish demand for screen printing machines and it was thus ideal time to think of new design and creation of NexPrint 22×28 is the ultimate result of the Covid break.”

Describing the main features of the new machine, he says “Machine does not require much maintenance as it is built on an electromechanical engineering system and there is no pneumatic mechanism. And in future whenever, replacement of parts is needed it will not be a costly affair. And certain components are easily available in the market such as Electronic items sensors, PLC, etc. Although it is a mechanical type, it offers 2-3 times more pressure than other mechanical machines. The new machine has improved features, loaded with the best components. The NexPrint can run at a production speed of 1050 impressions per hour. The other features are adjustment of the screen height, Separate squeegee pressure; print counter, and the stainless vacuum bed. The machine, weighing 310 kg, runs on a single-phase (220V/ single phase) with a 2 HP motor.”

He concludes “NextPrint 22×28 with very unusual design demonstrates Sudarshan’s machinery design and engineering capabilities to bring greater benefits to the screen printing industry. We hope this new ergonomically designed screen printing machine will bring benefit to end-users.”
