Summa F Series Vantage Adds Large-Format and Carbon Fibre Cutters

24 September 2026: Summa announced the expansion of its F Series Vantage flatbed cutting platform in a release datelined Gistel, Belgium, on 14 September 2026. The F1832, F3220 and F3232 bring the platform to larger production formats, while a dedicated F1625CF configuration targets dry carbon fibre cutting.

The company announcement, published on Summa’s website on 15 September, targets signage, packaging, textile and industrial producers. It follows the F Series Vantage launch at FESPA Barcelona, where Summa initially introduced the platform in the F1612 and F1625 formats.

What the Summa F Series Vantage expansion adds

Summa assigns different production roles to the larger models. The F1832 targets long-format, single-sheet work, including full 5 × 10 ft boards. The F3220 focuses on textiles and soft signage, while the F3232 targets double-sheet production using a tandem workflow and two rows of vacuum zones.

The company’s published model comparison lists these working areas:

F1832: 184 × 320 cm.
F3220: 327 × 210 cm.
F3232: 327 × 320 cm.

Finishing efficiency beyond cutting speed

Summa presents the expansion as a workflow upgrade, with attention to loading, setup and job changeovers as well as cutting. Its announcement lists Operator Mode and Tandem Mode as standard, alongside automation capabilities including barcode-driven workflows, nesting optimisation and extension-table configurations.

Heavy Duty Roll Support can handle rolls weighing up to 200 kg, according to the company. Summa also describes GoConnect as the connection layer for external automation, including robotic loading and vision systems.

GoProduce remains the operator software. Automatic Device Calibration, automated tool and module recognition, and an ultrasonic media-thickness sensor form part of the platform’s setup features. The company’s earlier GoProduce software development shows how material settings and repeatable action sets already supported its flatbed workflow. A separate configuration for dry carbon fibre

The F1625CF addresses a different requirement from larger signage or packaging sheets. Summa describes it as a dedicated dry carbon fibre cutting configuration, with protective measures intended to reduce the risk of short circuits caused by conductive dust. The release identifies coated circuit boards and shielded connectors on the module heads among those measures.
