Swayam Nanda (The Printman, Kanpur) Covers 10,000 km Cycle Ride

09 March 2022: Swayam Nanda, Proprietor, The Printman, Kanpur, adds one feather in his cap of achievements. Along with the other 10 members of Cawnpore Riders, a bicycle riders club in Kanpur crossed 10,000 km of bicycle riding. The fete was achieved on 6th March 2022.

Swayam Nanda says that they cover approximately 2,000 km per month. He is a member of Cawnpore Riders, Kanpur, founded by Ravi Shastri Kumar. The Club has around 150 members. I joined the Group in 2019 upon insistence from my friends. On average around 50 members from diverse fields – businessmen and professionals, daily morning go on cycle ride covering about 15-20 km (30-40 km up/down). We reach a specified meeting point on the bank of River Ganga. Once everybody reaches the point, we discuss some positive topics such as pollution reduction, cycling, fitness, health etc to share our knowledge. He says that cycling is his childhood passion.

“I go on a cycle ride, not only for personal satisfaction and fitness but in the process our cycle group spreads awareness about the use of cycle to reduce pollution.”

The Printman is engaged in wedding card manufacturing, wholesale and retail trading. He spends his weekends for a cause by associating with two NGOs, viz, Feeding India and Parivartan Youth Club.
