Three Roland DG Products Win 2026 Pinnacle Awards
13 July 2026: Roland DG has won three 2026 PRINTING United Alliance Pinnacle Awards for products used in digital print production, inks, media and workflow software. The awards, announced by Roland DG Americas on 9 July 2026, recognised Dimense Media, ECO-UV EUV-H Inks and Roland DG Connect Designer across three Non-Output categories.

The Pinnacle Awards recognise technology and product innovation in the printing industry. PRINTING United Alliance said this year’s entries were reviewed by expert judges for innovation, functionality and industry impact.
Dimense Media won in the Non-Output – Media/Non-PVC category. The digitally printable, PVC-free media is designed for Roland DG’s Dimense DA-640 dimensional surface printer. According to Roland DG, the system uses Dimense water-based inks and heat to control the surface structure of the media, enabling textured output with embossing depths of up to 2 mm. The application areas include wallcoverings, fine art, signage, retail displays and packaging.
ECO-UV EUV-H Inks won in the Non-Output – Digital Inks/UV category. Roland DG describes EUV-H as a UV hard ink for industrial and commercial printing applications. It is compatible with VersaObject MO Series benchtop flatbed printers and is also planned for use with the RC-300 Series cylindrical printers and IO-300 industrial UV flatbed. The ink is positioned for applications requiring stronger durability and adhesion on surfaces such as glass and metal.
Roland DG Connect Designer won in the Non-Output – Software/Web-Based Design, Personalization or Product Building category. The cloud-based design application is built to help users create print-ready designs and connect them with Roland DG’s VersaWorks RIP software and compatible printing devices. The core version is available at no charge to Roland DG Connect accounts.
