TRENDHAUS 2026: CMAI Brings Top Fashion Brands to Mumbai

04 February 2026: The Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI) has inaugurated the first edition of TRENDHAUS 2026 in Mumbai, marking the launch of a new, invitation-only apparel booking platform. The opening ceremony on January 26, 2026, was attended by CMAI office bearers and senior representatives from participating brands including Classic Polo, Easies, Gini & Jony, Indian Terrain, Integriti, Jr Killer, Killer, Nostrum, Spykar, Status Quo and Twills.

Positioned as a closed-door business forum, CMAI TRENDHAUS 2026 – India Brands Collective brings together 11 domestic fashion labels at a single venue. The platform is structured to allow retailers to review Autumn-Winter 2026 product lines, conduct focused discussions with brand teams, and finalise advance orders in a controlled and time-efficient setting.

The format has been developed to prioritise uninterrupted business engagement and systematic seasonal planning. Retailers are provided access to upcoming collections while brands are able to present assortments in a setting designed for professional interaction and decision-making.

Santosh Katariya, President of CMAI, said that curated booking platforms contribute to strengthening industry coordination between manufacturers and retailers. He noted that such initiatives support better planning cycles, improve operational efficiency, and promote transparent and long-term commercial relationships within the apparel sector.

The event has been designed to improve booking productivity by consolidating multiple brand presentations under one roof. According to CMAI, this structure is intended to reduce travel and coordination requirements for retailers while improving brand visibility and interaction quality.

Running over five days, TRENDHAUS 2026 is hosting scheduled one-to-one meetings between participating brands and retail representatives from across India. CMAI has invited approximately 2,000 pre-selected retail outlets, covering multi-brand stores, exclusive brand outlets, large format retailers, e-commerce businesses and franchise partners. The association is supporting participants through a hosted programme that includes travel, accommodation and hospitality services.

In addition to business meetings, the programme includes structured networking sessions and interaction forums aimed at supporting longer-term collaboration between brands and retail partners.

Each participating company is exhibiting from custom-built brand pavilions ranging in size from 4,000 sq. ft. to 30,000 sq. ft. allowing buyers to view collections in a dedicated and immersive presentation format.

With the introduction of TRENDHAUS 2026, CMAI has added another platform focused on strengthening coordination, planning and engagement across the Indian apparel supply chain.
