Triace Printers – A Memorable Golden Jubilee Milestone
17 December 2020: Sanaa Hamid Vasi, Partner, Triace Printers, recalls the 50-year journey of the company and the key achievements along the way.
Commemorating 50 years of Triace is a golden moment for your company, how do you feel about it ?
It is a big landmark for us. We – my brother Shehzad Vasi and I – as the next generation owe a deep debt of gratitude to our father, Hamid Vasi, the company’s Managing Partner who founded Triace in 1970. It is all his tremendous efforts, perseverance and dedication because of which we have reached where we are today. We are also blessed with a great workforce that works with sincerity, sense of responsibility and integrity.
What are the successes of your organization ?
We had many notable successes in our organization:
# We started with manufacturing decorative stickers in the late 80s. For five years we had the Walt Disney franchise. We used to sell these stickers in retail outlets all over India through a sole selling agent. We were incredibly popular.
# In the 90s we got into printing of inlay cards for cassettes and CDs in a big way. We were extremely successful with this new business coming in from the music industry.
# Our specialities for innovations in visibility and consumer offer solutions are widely used by the top FMCG companies of our country.
Throughout these 50 years, our true successes and our strengths which continue to be till date are our work ethics, endeavour to give prompt, professional and personalised service, utmost emphasis on quality and our aim to constantly innovate new products.

We have won National and BMPA Awards for our work, both in innovative packaging and offset printing.

What are the memorable moments of Triace in 50 years ?
Entrepreneurial journeys are anything but linear. There are ideas that propel you forward, setbacks that challenge you, and pivots that have you starting from what feels like scratch. Yet despite the inevitable trial and error companies are bound to face, all the moments in Triace have been truly value creating for us.
What were/ are the product offered by Triace in 50 years ago and now ?
Since our establishment, we have specialised in innovative value–added Printing, Packaging and Security Seal Stickers. Since 1970 we are engaged in the printing of Product Labels, Stickers, Cartons, Catch Covers, Posters, Tags, Header Cards, Brochures, Booklets, Catalogues, Leaflets, Backing Sheets, Danglers, Tamper Evident stickers, Tamper Proof stickers, Scratch Cards, Wrap around bands, Multilayered Stickers, Counter Tops, Show Cards, Inlay Cards and other Print Creations. We have always been known to be sticker specialists in the industry from the very beginning as we have an expertise in this product.

You have Screen Printing Machine, what are its applications ? What are your views about the role of screen printing in label/sticker production ? How does value addition help ?
The applications of the machine are for Spot UV Varnish, Paper Bags and Tamper Proof Stickers. Screen printing helps in value additions immensely to enhance the look and feel of the printed label / sticker. It also helps make it look far more premium and creates a strong impact.
