Umrao Automation Launches State of the Art Carousal Textile Printing Machine – Tigon
24 February 2022: Umrao Automation, Vasai, (near Mumbai) has Launched Tigon Automatic Textile Screen Printing Machines. With this new launch, the company has joined the list of select companies that manufacture automatic carousal and oval textile screen printing machines across the globe. Umrao Automatic is the second such company in India to design and manufacture automatic textile screen printing machines. With this accomplishment, Umrao has put India on the global map of select automatic textile screen printing machine manufacturers.
Although there are several flatbed screen printing machines across the globe, there are only a few companies that manufacture world-class automatic screen printing machines, mostly in Europe. The Tigon series is an Automatic textile screen printing machine for t-shirt printing, etc. The textile printing machine is offered in the configuration of 4 to 12 colours in the standard version with 12 to 16 pallets. The standard machine size is 50×75 cm or 20×30 inch and XL is 71×101 cm (28×40 inch). It can print 900 pieces per hour and can run in a clockwise and anti-clockwise direction.
Umrao’s textile screen printing machine’s robust design makes it easy and efficient. It is fitted with an instant pallet mounting system, a screen mounting system that has manual clamps and a pneumatic holding mechanism. Screens frames are micro-adjustable in ‘X’ and ‘Y-direction up to +/- 5 mm. Moreover, Off contact can be set easily from 0-6 mm at the front and rear of the print station. The textile printer is fitted with a Hybrid Mitsubishi controller which allows the machine to remain in fully operational condition for a long time. The Laser guidelines provided are at the loading station for perfect accuracy. Last but not the least, a full safety system is provided on the printing station for maximum safety.
The Umrao automatic textile screen printing machine is designed and built with a precision pallet motion system for repetition accuracy. It comes with a lightweight honeycomb pallet with a silicon rubber pad to avoid excess overheating after flashing, one of the key features for printers using water-based and discharge inks. The squeegee pressure equalizer delivers even ink deposition to achieve consistency in colour reproduction. The textile printer has separate gearboxes for each printing station to avoid irrelevant running of the gearbox that in turn helps in decreasing the wear and tear of the machine.
