Umrao Exports ‘Tigon’ Textile Screen Printer to Sagun Readymade Udhyog, Nepal
24 October 2022: Within the six month’s of its launch, Vasai based Umrao Automation (P) Ltd. has successfully installed its ‘Tigon’ brand Textile Screen Printing Machine in Nepal. The 7 color/12 pallet configured textile screen printing machine with a print area of 14 inch x 19 inch has been working successfully at Sagun Readymade Udhyog, Biratnagar, Nepal.
Over a telephonic interview, Dhiren Shah, Print Production Manager at Sagun Readymade, said “Although we are very familiar with many international brand textile printing machines, we choose Umrao’s Tigon based on the merit of company’s reputation on quality and service. And, being a neighbouring country, we felt more comfortable buying a ‘Made in India’ textile printing machine in the long run interest for hassle free after sales service and timely procurement of parts when needed.”
He adds further “Quality of the machine is best in class and heavy duty. The of course, Umrao Automation had also cooperated with us to customise the machine as per our production needs. From the beginning of the deal itself they were committed to meet our requirements both on quality of machine and service. Umrao’s technical team came here and streamlined our production after the installation of Tigon textile printer.”

We print about 2500-3000 garments per day, involving 4-6 colors, and we do not undertake job work.” says Dhiren. “We have a team of 35 people within the printing department with skilled manpower. Our garment manufacturing unit employs over 200 people.”

About six months ago, Umrao Automation, Vasai, (near Mumbai) had launched its Tigon brand Automatic Textile Screen Printing Machines. The company is among the few global companies that manufacture automatic carousal and oval textile screen printing machines across the globe. The company has also successfully manufactured and installed Oval Textile Printer in India. The Tigon series is an Automatic textile screen printing machine for t-shirt printing, etc. The textile printing machine is offered in the configuration of 4 to 12 colours in the standard version with 12 to 16 pallets. The standard machine size is 50 × 75 cm or 20 × 30 inch and XL is 71 × 101 cm (28 × 40 inch). It can print 900 pieces per hour and can run in a clockwise and anti-clockwise direction.
