Vama Prints & Technologies Shines at FESPA Eurasia 2022, Turkey
09 December 2022: FESPA Eurasia took place from 01-04 December 2022 at Istanbul Expo Center in Turkey. Just one Indian company kept the national flag flying high at the event. “I was really surprised that we are the only Indian company to participate in the recently held Fespa Eurasia show in Turkey,” said Bhavesh P Shah, Managing Director, Vama Prints & Technologies (P) Ltd., Bhiwandi.
“Almost every visitor who visited our stall did not leave without collecting samples and asked quotes after knowing that these films are Made in India. Visitors were also surprised to know that Vama Prints & Technologies is the only company who makes films in India and the only Indian company in the exhibition,” says Bhavesh Shah, adding, “Apart from several visitors from different parts of Turkey, there were many visitors from various countries, Iran, Russia, Europe, Israel, Dubai, Egypt, Africa, China, etc. Since I had a translator there was no communication gap at all. Their response was very positive and some of them very heart-touching, be it business or personal relationship.”
Giving details of the product showcase, he said that the company had displayed Vama’s range of Ultranex Transfer Release films, which are high-quality PET Heat transfer release films for printing textile transfer with Screen printing, Hybrid Printing, and DTF Printing. “The overall response was extremely encouraging and warm from the visitors and exhibitors also. As many of the exhibitors are our potential clients. We have recently started producing F86SM1/DTF and people showed a lot of interest in this grade. Some of the exhibitors took the samples and instantly tested them on their machines.”
Sharing his first overseas participation in an expo like Fespa Eurasia, Bhavesh Shah, “Actually I was going to Turkey for a customer visit and I came to know about Fespa Eurasia from an online search, so I thought to club my visit. I asked a few industry friends about it but no one was interested or wanted to go. So, I planned on my own, just 15 days ahead of the exhibition. I inquired about some kind of advertisement opportunity in the show and to my surprise Ms. Betul mailed me saying that I can still participate in the show. I was a bit nervous but confident in my product. The day I landed in Turkey was a nightmare as it is not an English-speaking country. I hardly knew anybody and I had to make setup and banners etc. However, all thanks to Team Fespa Eurasia and my translator, Ms. Gul, due to whom my participation was memorable and successful. A stall next to me was Polyprint DTG Printers. They always made a point to give coffee and snacks very first in the morning and evening all 4 days with a smiling face, saying you are our guest and neighbour, this is our duty’.”
FESPA Eurasia featured large-format digital printing, screen printing, textile printing, clothing decoration, vehicle coating, 3D printing, promotion, LED signage technologies, consumables, and software, etc.
