16th Edition of 3P Pakistan to Take Place in May 2022 at Expo Centre Lahore

20 December 2021: Packaging industry in Pakistan is attracting foreign investment as a result of rising exports and increasing local consumption of packaged foods. Flexible Packaging, Paper boards, Corrugated Boxes & Cartons, Plastic films, Thermoplastic boxes & containers and Jute sacks are a growing market in Pakistan. Moreover, with over 6,500 plastics processing units, Plastics industry in Pakistan is said to be second largest in South Asia.

As such, after a gap of two years due to Covid-19 pandemic, the 16th edition of 3P Pakistan, an exhibition for Plastic, Printing, Packaging and other related sectors will take place on 26-28 May 2022 at Expo Centre, Lahore. The mega exhibition is being organized by FAKT Exhibitions Pvt. Ltd.

A diverse range of products will be showcased related to Injection Moulding Machines, Woven Bags Machines, Printing Machines, Packaging Machines, finishing machines, Thermoforming Machines, Adhesives & Glue, Inks and Coatings, Solvents & Chemicals, Flexible Packaging & Machines, Corrugation & Machines, Metal and glass Packaging & Machines, etc.

According to the organizers, the show will bring the world’s best Plastic, Printing, Packaging suppliers from Europe, China, India, Japan, Korea, USA, UK, etc. As on today the list of exhibitors is dominated by Chinese companies totaling around 125 followed by Pakistani Exhibitors (80+).

Printing industry in Pakistan has enormous potentials which remains an untapped treasure in Pakistan. Over the years, the industry has attained a height where it is serving and adequately meeting the entire paper and printing needs of the industry including the multinational companies. For past few years there is more attraction in Digital Printing and its growing very fast.

Rubber industry in Pakistan is not very big sector but it has potential to grow. The major concentration of plastics processors whether they are injection, blow, extrusion, woven or tubular films manufacturers, is in and around the industrial hubs of Karachi, Lahore, Gujranwala, Peshawar, Faisalabad, Hyderabad and Rawalpindi, as reported by Food Journal.
