3rd CII Packaging Summit (Hybrid) on 15 December 2021 at Holiday Inn Noida

19 November 2021: After the resounding success of previous editions, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is g earing up to host its flagship event; the 3rd CII Packaging Summit on 15 December 2021 at Delhi NCR. According to an official communique issued by CII’s Western UP Zonal Office in Noida, the Summit will be organised in a Hybrid mode, meaning those who wants to attend the Summit physically can reach the venue or with prior registration or register and attend virual event. The physical event will take place at Hotel Holiday Inn Noida, Delhi NCR.

The Summit will bring brand owners, conventional/online retailers, packaging converters, material and equipment suppliers, packaging designers, machinery manufacturer, logistic companies, recyclers, regulators, research companies, software suppliers to discuss latest trends and developments, advancements in material and technologies, challenges, and innovative solutions in the packaging market.

The aim of the Summit is to develop beneficial partnerships; strive towards creating sustainable business and operational models and to create ‘win-win’ situations for all. The Summit aims to address the most relevant topics such as: Smart Packaging Solutions, Sustainable Packaging, Design and innovation, Industrial Packaging, Latest trends in packaging industry.

Reportedly, the India Packaging Market is expected to reach $204.81 billion by 2025, registering a CAGR of 26.7% from 2020 to 2025. Packaging is one of the high growth industries in India and is developing at 22-25% per annum and is becoming a preferred hub for the packaging industry.

The industry has reported steady growth over the past several years and shows high potential for expansion in the domestic as well as the international arena. The Indian packaging sector is bound to compliment the growth story of a country that is expected to become the fifth-largest consumer in the global market by 2025. However, the sector has its share of challenges and an effective solution to these challenges is further expected to chart a new growth story for the packaging sector.
