12 February 2026: FABTEX Georgia 2026 (Georgia’s International Textile Exhibition) will take place from 01-03 October 2026 at Hall 11, Expo Georgia, Tbilisi, Georgia. Textile and apparel industry in Georgia is a growing sector focused on garment manufacturing, specifically Cut, Make, Trim (CMT) operations for international brands like Zara, Puma, and H&M. Supported by Free Industrial Zones (FIZs) and government programs like “Produce in Georgia,” it benefits from low labor costs, a skilled workforce, and strategic, duty-free access to EU and CIS markets.

Georgia is a country in the Caucasus region of Eurasia. Georgia has very strategic location, that makes it attractive to any investor. – For investors low production costs are very attractive too. In Georgia there is a good Transportation Links to CIS Countries, Europe and Asia.

– United Kingdom, Germany and Ukraine are the main importers of Georgian textile and apparel.

– Georgia is producing apparel for international brands including Tommy Hilfiger, Zara, Moncler, Marks & Spencer, Koton, Puma, Mexx, Next, George, Miss Etam, Lotto, Per Una, Autograph, Lebek, Hawes & Curtis, Dainese, Primark etc. These achievements have opened new avenues for the country’s textile and with this the Georgian textile and apparel industry has already embarked on a successful itinerary.

– Considering the political stability, sturdy legal framework, comparatively low corporate tax, good geographical position (Georgia has the shortest transport route from Europe to Azerbaijan, Armenia, Iran and Central Asian countries), strong entrepreneurship and availability of low cost skilled labourers, Georgia is the much liked destination for investing in textile.

– Georgia is an important potential market for fabric and other inputs to be used in ready-made clothing production.
