Creality Pika 3D Scanner Preorders Open at USD629

24 July 2026: Creality has opened US preorders for the Pika 3D scanner at USD 629, a 10% early-bird discount on the USD 699 list price. The offer runs from July 22 to August 12, 2026.

Creality first showed Pika at its 12th anniversary product launch. The scanner weighs 260g and measures 100 × 60 × 35mm. It has a 3-inch touchscreen, Wi-Fi 6, USB 3.0 and two 3,350mAh swappable batteries. It supports Windows, macOS, iOS and Android, allowing phone-based scanning as well as wired and wireless PC use.

For capture, Creality pairs a seven-line blue laser with NIR structured light. The company rates the blue-laser mode at up to 0.03mm accuracy, with a minimum scan volume of 10 × 10 × 10mm. The NIR mode is aimed at people and larger objects, with up to 0.1mm stated accuracy, a minimum 50 × 50 × 50mm scan volume and a working distance of up to 1,000mm. Creality says the blue-laser mode can run at up to 110 frames per second on a PC, while phone-based line-laser use can reach up to 40fps.

The company says Pika can handle black and metallic surfaces without scanning spray, and use outdoors in ambient light up to 110,000 lux in blue-laser mode. Its software includes AI retexturing, hole filling and a body-completion tool that combines a face scan with body photos. Scans can be exported as STL, OBJ, PLY and ASC files. Creality also lists Gaussian Splatting output for display and sharing.

Pika is being pitched at 3D-printing users, makers, model builders, designers, classrooms and small professional shops. The scanner’s accuracy, speed, outdoor-light and no-spray claims are supplier specifications, not independent test results. That matters because the official product page had no customer reviews at the time checked, and buyers will need to judge its practical performance after the first units ship.
