Boston Industrial Solutions Pairs SA1-370 Adhesive With G70 Primer
29 July 2026: Boston Industrial Solutions has launched Citrine SA1-370 Silicone Glue, an industrial adhesive developed for permanent bonding to silicone substrates.
The company’s announcement describes SA1-370 as a high-strength adhesive for silicone-to-silicone assemblies and for joining silicone to other materials. Its product and launch pages list metal, wood and plastics among the supported materials, with ABS, polycarbonate and thermoplastic polyurethane cited as plastic examples.
Boston Industrial Solutions positions its SAP-G70 Silicone Primer as the surface-preparation step for difficult silicone bonding jobs. The G70 primer is formulated to pretreat silicone rubber before it is bonded to silicone, metal or plastic and specifically recommends pairing it with SA1-370.
That distinction matters. The company’s announcement is for the SA1-370 adhesive; G70 is the companion primer. Boston Industrial Solutions silicone’s low surface energy makes it difficult to bond with conventional adhesives. It is positioning the primer-and-adhesive combination for product assembly, repair and specialty manufacturing where a durable bond to silicone is required.
The company lists medical devices, consumer products, electronics, automotive components, industrial equipment, promotional products and custom silicone fabrication as potential application areas. These are manufacturer-stated uses rather than third-party performance validations, so production users should qualify the system for their own substrates, process conditions and regulatory requirements.
Bonaventure Mutuku, chief operating officer of Boston Industrial Solutions, said the SA1-370 launch was aimed at manufacturers seeking reliable, permanent adhesion to silicone. He linked the product to the company’s focus on solving manufacturing problems while improving production efficiency and product quality.
The launch adds a dedicated silicone adhesive to Boston Industrial Solutions’ portfolio of industrial inks, coatings, primers and printing supplies. Together, the SA1-370 adhesive and G70 primer give manufacturers a clearly defined two-product route for preparing and bonding silicone assemblies.
