ITMA ASIA + CITME 2026 set for Shanghai in November

14 August 2026: ITMA ASIA + CITME 2026 will return to the National Exhibition and Convention Centre (NECC) in Shanghai from 20 to 24 November 2026. The 10th combined edition of the textile machinery show is jointly owned by CEMATEX, CCPIT TEX, China Textile Machinery Association and China International Exhibition Centre Group, and is organised by Beijing Textile Machinery International Exhibition Co Ltd with ITMA Services as co-organiser.

As of 24 March 2026, organisers said both the number of exhibiting companies and booked exhibition space had surpassed all previous combined editions. The 2024 Shanghai edition occupied about 160,000 square metres across six halls and featured more than 1,700 exhibitors from 22 countries and regions.

What is on show

Exhibits are arranged by process across the textile and garment value chain, including spinning, man-made fibres, weaving, knitting, printing, dyeing and finishing, nonwovens, embroidery, garment making, braiding, recycling, testing, packaging, components and textile chemicals.

New and expanded product areas this edition include equipment for textile-reinforced composites, textile recycling technologies and systems, digital platforms and automation of production processes. Organisers say the automation section is set to cover industrial robots, intelligent sensing, VR/AR virtual commissioning and digital twin production lines.

Confirmed names listed by the organisers include Atexco, Barmag, Beijing Chonglee, BEST, BZS, CHTC, Cixing, Dornier, Epson, Fongs, Hicorp, Hongyuan, Itema, Karl Mayer, Konica Minolta, LMW, Murata, Picanol, Rieter, Rifa, Santoni, Saurer, Shima Seiki, Staubli, Taitan, Texpro, TMT, Truetzschler, Vandewiele, Yingyang and Yoantion. Companies are expected to show digitalisation, intelligent manufacturing and greener production systems.

2024 benchmark and visitor push

The 2024 show drew about 90,000 visits from 111 countries and regions. Organisers said 87% of visitors were from China. South American attendance, led by Argentina, Brazil and Colombia, grew strongly, with higher visitorship also reported from markets including Algeria, India, Italy, Japan, Sri Lanka, Türkiye and the United Kingdom.

Visitor promotion is under way. Organisers reported overseas outreach in Jakarta and Tokyo in April 2026, with further activity planned across major textile markets including Bangladesh, Brazil, Egypt, India, Malaysia, Pakistan, South Africa, Türkiye and Vietnam. Group invitations have been extended to more than 100 overseas trade associations, industry bodies and key enterprises.

Trade visitor pre-registration opened on 25 May 2026 and runs until 19 November 2026.
