APTech Announces the Completion of the Advanced Leadership Program with George Mason University School of Business

08 October 2020: The Association for Print Technologies (APTech), in partnership with George Mason University School of Business, announces today the successful completion of its Advanced Leadership Program.

The Advanced Leadership program aimed to arm executives with the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to successfully transform their companies. Participants in the course explored various methodologies to generate continued success in a disrupted industry that is facing radical changes in technologies, markets, and financial models.

This one-of-a-kind graduate-level curriculum, taught by George Mason University School of Business professors, was designed to prepare industry leaders to develop strategic frameworks to reinvent their organizations and create new business models based on an innovative vision for the future.

“This opportunity has been great for my team. We have all been very motivated by this program. We have developed our own internal Business Expansion & Transition (BET) committee to leverage ideas for future business models and to expand our existing product to serve a customer need in the market,” said Kristi Douglas, HR Manager, The Washington Post. “The ‘Advanced Leadership – Leading Transformation in the Print Industry’ program has provided us the framework to continue discussions and move conceptual ideas into reality.”
The 14 participants who successfully finished the course have received a certificate of completion from George Mason University School of Business.

“This program is just one manifestation of APTech’s on-going commitment to developing our industry’s current and future leaders. Today, more than ever, creating the capability to transform and adapt your business to a variety of circumstances and opportunities is critically important to long-term success,” says Thayer Long, President of the Association for PRINT Technologies. “These 14 participants successfully navigated the vigorous coursework of the program and we congratulate them.”

Future programs of this unique and vital nature are currently in development. As with this and future programs, APTech members are eligible for early registration opportunities as well as significant discounts on many APTech’s programs.
