Delhi Book Fair 2023 to Commence from 29th July 2023
21 June 2023: One of the most awaited annual events of India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO), the 27th edition of Delhi Book Fair is being organized in Hall 11, 12 and 12A at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from July 29 to August 02, 2023. Inspired by a dynamic vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Delhi Book Fair 2023 is being organized with an enhanced stature and size. This year, the Fair assumes a huge significance as it coincides with ’Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ especially when the country is holding a mega global G20 Summit.
Federation of Indian Publishers (FIP) is the co-organizer of Delhi Book Fair 2023 which is being organized especially when this premier supporting body of Indian book publishers is commemorating its ‘Golden Jubilee’ of its inception.
The theme of Delhi Book Fair 2023 is ‘Books in Nation Building’. The books are considered as a vital source of knowledge, skills and wisdom for generations and development of human civilizations. These are indispensable to mould a responsible citizen who alone will be able to contribute to progress and advancement of country. Despite advent of the digital technologies , physical books have extras edge in three – fold human development i.e. physical, mental and spiritual.
The fair provides an ideal platform for B2B transaction, networking entering into co-publishing arrangements, translation and copyright arrangements, reprinting of old and rare books apart from providing retail opportunities to participants. To make the event more meaningful for participants and visitors, a number of conferences, seminars, workshops, book releases, meet the authors program, painting competitions, cultural events are being scheduled.
This year too, 23rd Stationery Fair, 7th Office Automation & Corporate Gift Fair is among the added attractions.
