Dharmesh Shah Conducts Technical Workshop for INIFD Surat Students
14 July 2021: Dharmesh Shah, Proprietor of Darshil Enterprise, Surat conducted a Technical Workshop on June 26, 2021 for INFID Students on ‘Opportunities in Textile / Garment Screen Printing’ and provided hands-on training to 30 students attending the technical workshop.
As the founder of a firm that is one of the leading distributors of screen, textile & offset printing materials & accessories in Surat, with relevant involvement in this trade from the last 20 years, Dharmesh possesses the practical understanding that is so necessary to guide young aspirants. In fact, this was the second time workshop conducted by the head of Darshil Enterprise at the institute; the previous one being a workshop in four batches covering about 100 students over two days during 2018-19.
The recent workshop was of 4 hours duration and the programme included an elaborate presentation followed by an experiential, hands-on training session. After the workshop concluded, many of the students who had attended shared that they were surprised to see the versatile application of screen printing and to witness the transformative print results once they pushed the squeegee on the screen. The curious students had many questions, which were answered by Dharmesh Shah who imparted full knowledge and provided detailed explanations to them.
Explaining the rationale for taking time out from his busy schedule for this endeavour, Dharmesh Shah, said, “I am happy to share my knowledge of screen printing with the printers of tomorrow during this workshop. By interacting through a focused forum like this, I am making them aware about the possibilities of screen printing in textile/ garment printing and how they can further expand their vision and creativity. This field has immense possibilities and having the domain knowledge at this stage will help them to realise their potential going forward. I wish all these students the very best in their future endeavours.”
