DPI DG Printing Introduces Digiscreen S for Integrating with Carousal Textile Printers
06 Decemner 2022: DPI DG Printing SRL, Italy has introduced Digiscreen S, a new Ser.Tec. solution to integrate digital printing in screen printing carousels. To ensure high quality and productivity, the Digiscreen S digital printer is equipped with Ricoh Gen 5 industrial print heads, as stated by the company. Digiscreen S can integrate perfectly with any type of screen printing carousel and allows operators to apply the particular effects of screen printing (flock, foil, glitter) to digital prints, all in a single production process.
SER.TEC, founded in 1993, produces screen printing machines for printing on plastic, glass, wood, fabrics, ovens, and printing equipment. Following the great growth, the company developed a branch entirely dedicated to digital printing – DPI DG Printing. DPI DG Printing following market requests has created a line of printers: “The Eagle”. According to the company, Digiscreen S integrates perfectly with any type of screen printing carousel and allows you to apply the particular effects of screen printing (flock, foil, glitter) to digital prints, all in a single production process.
Digiscreen S is available in two models, Digiscreen S70 with a printing area of 50 x 70cm and Digiscreen S100 with a printing area of 50 x 100cm. Modular design of the machine allows it to be equipped with 2 to 8 Ricoh Gen 5 print heads that guarantee high productivity up to 200 pieces per hour and photographic print quality.
The two models, Digiscreen S60 and Digiscreen S100 differ in the print area of 50x60cm and 60x100cm respectively. The Digiscreen S reduces the number of screens that are otherwise used in CMYK printing by screen printing method; it is suitable for multi-shift production and compatible with any manual or automatic screen carousel. It can be combined with screen print special effects with details of digital prints. It can print on all fabrics white, colored or black at high speed and print quality.
