FoodVision Expo 2026 to Bring Food Processing and Packaging Buyers to Chennai

11 September 2026: FoodVision Expo 2026 is scheduled for 15-17 October 2026 at Chennai Trade Centre, Nandambakkam, Chennai, alongside PackVision Expo. The organiser’s announced programme brings food processing and packaging into one sourcing visit, giving manufacturers an opportunity to compare equipment, materials and production technologies before making investment decisions.

The official FoodVision Expo website lists food processing equipment, food packaging, ingredients, plant automation, storage and cold-chain logistics among its exhibition categories. Its intended audience includes manufacturers and processors, procurement teams, food technologists and packaging specialists.

What will FoodVision Expo 2026 cover ?

The announced scope includes dairy processing, bakery equipment, fruit processing, ice-cream processing and frozen foods. Food safety and quality management also feature in the exhibitor profile, placing packaging within a wider discussion about production requirements rather than treating it as a separate purchase.

The organiser says it plans live demonstrations of machinery, equipment and processing technologies, alongside displays of raw materials and ingredients. These are programme announcements, not evidence that particular machines have already been demonstrated or that specific suppliers will attend.

For buyers, the useful starting point is a defined production problem: a capacity constraint, a new pack format or a change in product range. That gives supplier discussions a clearer purpose than a general search for newer machinery.

PackVision adds filling, sealing and labelling equipment

The co-located PackVision Expo Chennai exhibition lists form-fill-seal equipment, filling and bottling machinery, capping machines, labelling equipment, coding and marking systems, and vacuum packaging machinery. Its wider scope includes packaging materials, automation and sustainable packaging.

Screen Print India’s earlier PackVision Pune 2025 preview provides background on the exhibition’s packaging focus. That was a separate edition; its announced exhibitors and attendance expectations should not be treated as details of the Chennai event.

Compare materials as carefully as machinery

Packaging discussions should cover the material as well as the machine. Buyers can ask suppliers to demonstrate sealing performance with the intended film or container and explain the test conditions behind claims about speed, waste or energy use.

For related materials coverage, Screen Print India has reported on Cosmo’s anti-fog lidding films. The report offers context for refrigerated-food packaging discussions, but does not establish that the product will appear at FoodVision Expo.

Printing and labelling deserve similar scrutiny. Buyers reviewing inks and coatings can consult the magazine’s coverage of Flint’s food packaging whitepaper for background on migration risk and material selection. Any supplier’s compliance claim should match the intended food-contact application and destination market.

Prepare for a practical sourcing visit

Manufacturers planning a visit should bring product specifications, sample packs, target output and details of their existing line. Ask about changeover time, cleaning requirements, installation needs and local service support before comparing quotations.

The two exhibitions offer an announced setting for those conversations, not a guarantee of higher productivity or profitability. Visitors should confirm relevant exhibitors and demonstration schedules with the organiser before travelling, particularly when the visit depends on seeing a specific machine or process.
