Rashmika Mandanna Named FUJIFILM India Imaging Ambassador

10 October 2026: FUJIFILM India announced actress Rashmika Mandanna as its Imaging Solutions brand ambassador in India. The FUJIFILM India brand ambassador role covers Electronic Imaging, instax and Photo Imaging; the company says the partnership aims to reach younger consumers and encourage photography and physical photo printing.

What does the FUJIFILM India brand ambassador role cover?

Mandanna will represent the company’s Imaging Solutions portfolio across the country. The appointment brings its digital camera, instant photography and photo imaging businesses under one ambassador association.

The portfolio includes digital cameras for enthusiasts and professionals, instax instant cameras and smartphone printers, QuickSnap, binoculars and photo printing solutions. These products serve different uses: taking photographs, printing images from a phone and producing photographs that people can keep or share.

Connecting digital images with physical prints

Mandanna said she already uses instax and values photographs as a way to preserve personal moments. In the company release, she said: “Photographs have always been special to me because they let us hold on to moments and feelings long after they have passed.”

Arun Babu, Associate Director of FUJIFILM India’s Imaging Solutions Division, described the association as a way to introduce consumers to photography and the company’s “click to print” offering. His comments covered cameras, printing solutions and other imaging products, rather than a single device.

Existing products illustrate that connection. Fujifilm describes the instax WIDE Evo as a hybrid camera and smartphone printer: users can select captured images to print or print photographs from their smartphone camera roll.

A separate route uses a dedicated smartphone printer. The instax mini Link+ printer works with an app to turn selected phone images into instant prints. Its official product page explains the image selection and printing process.

Younger audiences and photography communities

Koji Wada, Managing Director of FUJIFILM India, said the company hopes the association will inspire a new generation to explore photography while maintaining its connection with existing consumers. That is the company’s stated aim; the release provides no sales or engagement results for the partnership.

Fujifilm also linked the appointment to its existing consumer activities, naming the Fujifilm Spectrum tour, X-Space and the House of Photography in Mumbai. The company positions these experiences as opportunities for people to explore products, learn and engage with photography.

Its wider community work includes the X Academy photography platform. The official X Academy website lists photo walks and learning sessions, giving consumers another route to practise photography alongside the company’s product-led activities.
