TOPA Skill Development Centre Building Inaugurated Near Hyderabad

13 October 2026: Telangana Offset Printers Association (TOPA) inaugurated its Centre of Excellence – Skill Development Centre building at Dandu Malkapur, near Hyderabad, on 24 June 2026. The TOPA skill development centre aims to train printing and packaging workers, while the ceremony recognised donors and lifetime members who helped fund its development.

What will the TOPA skill development centre do?

According to TOPA’s account in AIFMP’s July-August 2026 Printing Times, the newly inaugurated building measures 6,500 sq. ft. and stands on one acre of land acquired through the association’s collective efforts. TOPA intends the facility to support training, innovation and industry development.

Addressing the gathering, C. Ravinder Reddy called for systematic skill development to tackle manpower shortages. He asked industry members to support the centre in developing a workforce for printing and packaging businesses.

The project follows TOPA’s earlier skill-development plans, which called for cooperation with training institutions and practical instruction for printing workers.

Technical training also features in Screen Print India’s interview on printer training, in which consultant Jeetendra J. discusses the shortage of technical personnel and training tailored to production needs.

Donors recognised and funding reported

TOPA presented mementos to building-fund donors and lifetime members in recognition of their contributions. The association reported raising nearly INR 1.30 crore through building-development and lifetime-membership initiatives. TOPA also thanked its executive committee, volunteers and other supporters for helping complete the building.

TOPA elects its 2026-28 leadership team

A separate account in the same journal records TOPA’s annual general meeting on 18 June 2026, when members unanimously elected the following office bearers for 2026-28:

Position Office bearer
President Dasaroju Radha Krishna
Vice President I G. Venu Gopala Krishna
Vice President II E. Sandeep Reddy
General Secretary Karukula Karunakar
Joint General Secretary B. Venkat Reddy
Treasurer Chinthi Reddy Yellareddy
National Coordinator S. Dayaker Reddy
Immediate Past President C. Ravinder Reddy

Reddy served as president of the All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP) for 2025-26, the term covering the June inauguration. Readers should distinguish that role from the federation’s subsequent 2026-27 leadership team: AIFMP’s current office-bearer list names Tushar V. Dhote as president.

Building completion and training delivery are separate

The new facility gives TOPA a physical base for its training ambitions. Evidence of regular courses and trainee outcomes will require further reporting. Screen Print India’s coverage of offset-printing vocational training offers a related example of instruction covering machine operation and book binding, without implying that TOPA has announced the same syllabus.
