Mimaki UV Flatbed Printers Add Automation as TxF330-800 Joins DTF Range

10 September 2026: Mimaki Europe announced three UV flatbed printers and the TxF330-800 direct-to-film printer on 8 September 2026, ahead of planned exhibition appearances in Istanbul and Birmingham. The additions target signage, product decoration and garment printing, with automated setup and maintenance designed to reduce manual work during production.

The company announcement names the JFX220-2515, UJF200-3042 and UJF200-6042 alongside RasterLink8 RIP software. Mimaki describes productivity improvements as design goals and product capabilities, rather than independently measured customer results.

What changes in the new Mimaki UV flatbed printers ?

The JFX220-2515 provides a 2,500 × 1,500 mm printable area and handles media up to 101.6 mm thick without an additional lift unit. Its four-head, dual-CMYK configuration delivers a stated production speed of up to 42 m²/h.

Mimaki’s ANCHOR Technology applies vacuum suction only where media sits, removing the need to mask unused areas. Automatic locating pins help operators position boards. These features address preparation work in sign and display production, a sector illustrated by Screen Print India’s coverage of direct-to-wood display printing.

Fluorescent pink and yellow inks add colour options. The printer also supports textured output and Braille applications, while its long-distance printing mode permits a head-to-print-area distance of up to 20 mm.

The smaller UJF200 Series handles objects up to 250 mm high, with a stated load capacity of 20 kg. Optional cameras detect object position and align artwork. An optional conveyor belt is available only for the UJF200-6042, not both models.

RasterLink8 brings camera alignment into job preparation

RasterLink8 combines job scheduling, colour management and automatic camera alignment. With compatible camera hardware, it can recognise workpiece positions and shapes and assign artwork to the corresponding objects.

The software supports fluorescent-colour workflows. Mimaki says it will also support all printer models currently compatible with RasterLink7; that does not mean every older printer gains the new machines’ hardware-dependent functions.

TxF330-800 expands white ink capacity

For garment decorators, the TxF330-800 announcement specifies a 16-cartridge system, including up to eight white ink slots holding up to four litres. Its uninterrupted ink supply system permits cartridge replacement during printing.

Mimaki states that production speed reaches 1.5 times that of the TxF300-75. The comparison is with that model, not the earlier TxF300-75Plus upgrade. Rotary wipers and ink circulation support maintenance, while Sky Blue and Pale Pink inks extend colour reproduction.

The emphasis on longer runs complements the on-demand garment applications discussed in Screen Print India’s DTF production overview. Buyers should assess the new printer against their actual artwork, film and production requirements rather than speed alone.

Where are the printers scheduled to appear ?

Mimaki plans to introduce the UV flatbeds at SIGN Istanbul, at Istanbul Expo Center on 23–26 September 2026, and at The Print Show in Birmingham on 29 September–1 October 2026, as listed in its event calendar.

The company also names The Print Show and Viscom Italia for the TxF330-800 debut. These are planned appearances, not completed demonstrations. The announcement does not specify Indian pricing or an India availability date.
