Parag Panvalkar honoured with ‘Jyotish Alankar’

Panvalkar (Gajanan & Co., Mumbai – one of the oldest Distributors of Screen & Offset Printing Materials & Inks) has a unique distinction of receiving a rare honor, At the meeting of Managing Committee of Tirvidyalaya it was unanimously decided to honour Parag P. Panvalkar with title of ‘Jyotish Alankar’. In appreciation of his indepth coverage and knowledge in the subject. He is Editor & Publisher of PARAG ALMANAC (calendar in the name of ‘Parag Dindarshika’ for last 20 years) and has also received a rare honor of ‘Panchang Ganit Ratna’. Parag has been blessed with this knowledge from his mother, Late Suman P. Panvalkar, who in turn was recipient of this expertise from her father, Late Bhalchandra Chintamani Purandare Shashtri who, in his lifetime, was awarded several Degrees, Certificates of Merit, Gold & Silver Medals from the Govt. and also from Revered Sri Shankaracharya of Kashi Math, (Banaras).
