PRINTING United Expo 2026 Reports 27,000 Registrations
09 October 2026: PRINTING United Expo 2026 closed on September 25, 2026, after three days at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Organiser PRINTING United Alliance reported 27,000 registrations in its preliminary results, bringing together print businesses to assess equipment, production methods and opportunities across apparel, commercial printing and packaging.
The September 23-25 exhibition also covered wide-format printing, mailing, in-plant production, industrial applications and promotional products. Its 2026 programme preview set out the mix of demonstrations and education available to companies considering work beyond their existing markets.
PRINTING United Expo 2026: Preliminary results
In its post-show report published by Printing Impressions, the Alliance listed the following preliminary figures:
- 27,000 registered attendees.
- 850-plus exhibiting companies.
- Approximately one million square feet of exhibit space.
- 174 students and educators registered.
These are organiser-reported figures, subject to final verification. The registration total should not be treated as an independently verified count of people who entered the exhibition.
The Alliance also reported 140 media professionals in attendance and more than two-thirds of the 2027 exhibit space reserved at the close of the show. Its release described hundreds of product introductions, including North American and global debuts, without identifying every launch.
Ford Bowers, President and CEO of PRINTING United Alliance, described the event as a place for print businesses to exchange ideas and explore new markets. The show’s cross-market programme put different print applications and production equipment in the same setting, with live demonstrations supplementing formal education.
AI and automation shape the production discussion
The organiser identified artificial intelligence, workflow automation, embellishment and personalisation among the main themes. The returning PRINTING AI Pavilion focused on practical applications for selling, producing and analysing print work.
Those discussions build on established production questions. Ricoh’s explanation of AI in print production, for example, examines quality monitoring and repetitive operator tasks. It also discusses maintenance planning and personalised print, offering a practical reference for readers assessing what AI could change in their own operations.
The programme included Taktiful-led technology tours. Screen Print India’s preview of the embellishment technology tours explains the separate Digital Production and Wide Format routes.
The new ASI Pavilion brought promotional products into the programme, while the Spill the Ink District provided space for industry conversations. Other activities included the Apparel Zone, Women in Print Alliance events, live installer demonstrations and roundtable discussions.
Student Day connects education with print careers
The expanded Student Day programme, developed with The Foundation for Graphic Communication Education, combined show-floor tours with demonstrations, career conversations and networking.
Students and educators met employers and technology suppliers while exploring career paths across printing and graphic communications. Show-floor tours and live demonstrations let students see equipment operating and speak directly with people working in the sector. The reported registration figure covers both students and educators.
When is the next PRINTING United Expo?
PRINTING United Expo will return to the Las Vegas Convention Center on September 14-16, 2027. The Alliance’s early space-reservation figure indicates exhibitor commitments for the next edition, but it remains part of the preliminary post-show report. Final attendance and other verified results may differ from the figures announced immediately after the 2026 event.
