Rakesh Sodhi, President unanimously elected as President of Governing Council IPAMA

27 October 2021: The elections were held for electing the Governing Council Members of Indian Printing Packaging & Allied Machinery Manufacturers’ Association (IPAMA),for the term 2021-2023. The election for IPAMA, the organizers of PRINTPACK INDIA exhibition, was conducted through e-Voting on 18th October 2021. As many as 18 candidates were elected as Members of the Governing Council for the term 2021-2023 as declared on October 22, 2021.

The following office bearers were elected unanimously: 1. Rakesh K. Sodhi, President, 2. Jaiveer Singh, Vice President (North), 3. Harish Bansal, Vice President (South), 4. Iqbal Singh, Vice President (West), 5. Vinay Kumar Gupta, General Secretary, 6. Ravinder Singh, Joint Secretary (West), 7. D. K. Garg, Joint Secretary (East), 8. Gagan Singh, Joint Secretary (South), 9. R.Suresh Kumar, Treasurer. The Posts of Vice President – East and Jt. Secretary (North) are yet to be filled at the time of announcing the new office bearers’ list.

Established in the year 1988, IPAMA has been in the centre-stage since its inception. It is providing necessary inputs to the Government of India on various issues concerning the Industry for policy making, in collaboration with CII, FICCI, ASSOCHAM and FIEO. The Corporate Office is being operated from its own sprawling building located in Sector 62, Institutional Area, Noida. The building is equipped with all the modern facilities for holding Conferences, Seminars and other related programmes.

IPAMA is the only Association which represents most of the sectors of the Graphic Arts Industry and Packaging. The Association has also been recognised by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry for its involvement in policy making, concerning various segments of the Printing and Packaging Industry.
