Shivtek to Build Rs.60 Cr Plant in Hazira for Specialty Chemicals

05 June 2025: Shivtek Spechemi Industries Ltd, a key player in the specialty chemicals sector and a flagship of the Shiva Group of Industries, has announced the establishment of a major new manufacturing plant near Hazira, Gujarat. Spread over 1 million+ square feet, the new unit marks a significant step in the company’s expansion journey with an investment of Rs.60 crores.

Slated to be operational by 2027-28, the facility will have a production capacity of 2,50,000 MTPA and will specialize in bio-based additives, proteogenic and aprotic solvents, and specialty petrochemicals. This state-of-the-art unit will serve as a benchmark in sustainable and innovative chemical manufacturing.

Strategically located, the Hazira plant benefits from proximity to major ports – Hazira, Dahej, Kandla, and Mundra, as well as access to the Dedicated Freight Corridor. Its closeness to Shivtek’s existing Dahej plant (just 70 km away) ensures reduced logistics costs and streamlined operations. Supporting the plant’s operational efficiency will be a 5000 KL storage facility and 1,50,000 sq. ft. of warehousing for exports and inter-plant movement.
