Sterling Dye Chem to Promote Silicon Inks of ‘Chemical Brothers’

28 April 2022: After tremendous success in Tirupur and the rest of Tamilnadu market for Silicone ink, Sterling Dye Chem, Tirupur, has now entered the Kerala market. The company sees a big opportunity for silicon inks in the Kerala market for various applications such as garments, textiles, leather products, etc.

It is but natural that Chemical Brothers has now extended their distributorship to Kerala, after making their presence felt in Tamil Nadu for Silicon inks. Under the distributorship agreement, Sterling Dye Chem will promote and sell Chemical Brothers’ range of products, viz, Textile Screen Printing Inks, mostly silicone inks in the states of Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

Sterling Dye Chem markets Chemical Brothers’ wide range of Silicone inks for different types of woven fabric, knitted garments; Silicone coatings for Technical textiles, Anti-slip silicone for socks, gloves and home textiles.

Revealing their plans, Balakumar, founder of Sterling Dye Chem said that they will soon open an experience zone where customers can come and take a trial of Silicon inks for various applications such as garments, footwear, etc.

“We do not want to be a mere raw material supplier. We are a complete solution provider to garment printers. My practical experience in textile screen printing is coming in handy now. Our company’s USP is that we offer special and innovative products, backed by technical support to customers. I have a technical qualification in textile chemistry and practical knowledge in textile printing and this is the twin advantage to customers,” says Balakumar.

Sterling Dye Chem offers special products. These include Thermochromic inks, photochromic inks, hydrochloric inks, aroma inks, reflective, radium powder, imported glitter and foil papers, etc. Besides, Chemical Brothers, the company also represents Aquasol (Water-Based Inks), FiberChem (Textile Inks), Indian Chemical Industries (Pigments), Flexkon (Oil-Based Non-PVC Inks), MagnaColours, etc.

“Tirupur has bounced back and after the problem in Sri Lanka, a lot of orders are being diverted to Tirupur. Now that most of our customers are delighted as a lot of orders are coming and they are now busy in sample development,” says Balakumar.
