Canon imagePROGRAF TM Series Adds Two MFPs in India

26 September 2026: Canon India has launched eight imagePROGRAF TM Series large-format machines for professional print and document workflows: six printers and two multifunction printers (MFPs) with built-in scanners. Canon’s South & Southeast Asia announcement is dated 16 September 2026; the company’s India product pages list the 24-inch TM-5510M and 36-inch TM-5610M. The MFPs combine print, copy and scan functions.

Canon’s regional release lists the six printer-only models as the TM-5500, TM-5600, TM-5510, TM-5515, TM-5610 and TM-5615, alongside the two MFPs.

What does the Canon imagePROGRAF TM Series include?

Canon India lists the 610 mm (24-inch) TM-5510M and 914.4 mm (36-inch) TM-5610M as five-colour LUCIA TD pigment-ink MFPs with built-in scanners. The TM-5510M product page and TM-5610M product page describe the two formats and their print, copy and scan functions.

Canon says users can place originals on the MFPs’ flat tops and choose scan presets for CAD drawings, blueprints and maps. Its regional announcement describes a sensor arrangement intended to reduce shadows from creases or wrinkles. The controls include a touchscreen; the workflow is aimed at teams that reproduce or digitise oversized originals.

What changes for drawing and poster output?

Canon says the range uses five-colour pigment ink and a new matte-black pigment designed to produce sharp lines and clear text on technical drawings. A new colour-mapping method is intended to deliver vivid poster output on plain paper. These are manufacturer-described capabilities.

Canon also reports that parts of the printer body use about 5% recycled iron and 25% recycled plastic. Its footnote calculates each percentage against the total mass of that material used in the printer body, not the total weight of the device.
