Cosmo First Brings Films and Packaging to LOUPE India 2026

30 October 2026: Cosmo First has announced a combined presentation of specialty films, chemicals and rigid packaging at LOUPE India 2026, running from 29 October to 1 November 2026 at the India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida. The company is targeting converters, printers and brand owners assessing packaging and labelling materials.

The announced line-up brings together Cosmo Films, Cosmo Speciality Chemicals and Cosmo Plastech. It reflects the broader portfolio behind the Cosmo First corporate identity, which replaced the company’s earlier Cosmo Films name as it expanded beyond films.

LOUPE India 2026: films for packaging and print

Cosmo Films’ announced range spans packaging, labelling, lamination and industrial applications. The company says its products address printability, appearance, processing performance and packaging functionality, with Cosmo Green Graphics and Cosmo Synthetic Paper also included in the programme.

The official Green Graphic Films catalogue describes PVC-free printable media for indoor and short-term outdoor promotional graphics. Retail signage, window graphics and point-of-purchase displays feature among its listed applications. These products extend the film offering beyond packaging into printed promotional materials.

For printers comparing substrates, Screen Print India’s report on CSP Dualcoat synthetic paper provides background on commercial printing, tags and labels. The current LOUPE announcement names the synthetic-paper range without identifying individual grades or announcing a new launch.

Coatings, adhesives and masterbatches

Cosmo Speciality Chemicals’ contribution covers coatings, adhesives and masterbatches. Its official chemicals portfolio description lists coatings for packaging, lamination and synthetic paper, alongside adhesives for label, packaging and lamination applications.

The company says its coatings address ink adhesion, gloss, clarity and resistance to scuffing and scratches. Its wider masterbatch portfolio includes white and additive masterbatches for polymer applications. These details describe the existing chemicals business, rather than additional product launches confirmed for the exhibition.

Rigid sheets and containers from Cosmo Plastech

Cosmo Plastech’s announced display covers sheets, containers and thermoformed packaging for consumer and industrial applications. Its official rigid-packaging catalogue separates the offering into rigid sheets, thermoformed containers and injection-moulded containers.

The catalogue identifies food, retail, electronics and medical uses for thermoformed containers. It also describes customised FMCG packaging manufactured through injection moulding and thermoforming, adding container formats to the group’s flexible-film and chemical-material offerings.

Screen Print India previously covered a similar combination of films, chemicals and rigid packaging in its report on Cosmo First at PLASTINDIA 2026. That earlier exhibition provides context for how the businesses present their portfolios together.

Customer discussions across the packaging chain

Speaking on the participation, Pankaj Poddar, Group CEO, Cosmo First, said, “Globally, the packaging industry is undergoing a tremendous shift with continuous change in market requirements. Further, with stricter packaging and labelling norms, brands are looking for solutions that help them address the underlying challenges while balancing strong business economics. LOUPE India provides an important platform to engage with such customers, converters and industry stakeholders and understand the evolving requirements of the packaging and labelling ecosystem. We remain focused on catering to their demands with innovation, customer collaboration and developing products that deliver meaningful value through performance, quality and sustainability.”

The organiser describes LOUPE India, formerly Labelexpo India, as an event covering labels, package printing and converting. Its stated scope includes flexible packaging such as shrink sleeves and pouches, alongside inline carton converting. Cosmo First says its participation aims to strengthen customer engagement and explore collaboration across the packaging chain.
