Cosmo Films Targets Label Converters at LOUPE Americas 2026

19 September 2026: Cosmo Films is exhibiting at LOUPE Americas 2026, running from September 15 to 17 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in the Chicago area. Its participation gives North American printers and converters a point of contact for specialty label films, packaging materials and synthetic paper. The organiser’s exhibitor directory confirms booth 238 and lists Cosmo Films under pressure-sensitive films, shrink and stretch films, synthetic papers, wraparound films, coatings and varnishes and in-mould label materials.

In its participation announcement, Cosmo Films says it plans to present products across labels, packaging, lamination and Cosmo Synthetic Paper (CSP). 

The company’s BOPP label film catalogue includes pressure-sensitive face stock, wraparound films and direct thermal printable films. These serve different labelling requirements: self-adhesive labels, container wraps and variable-information printing. Cosmo describes its direct thermal films as coated BOPP that forms an image through contact with a thermal print head. It lists baggage tags, tracking labels and point-of-sale weight and price labels among the applications, rather than treating all label films as interchangeable.

Cosmo also lists PET-G shrink films for applications such as shrink sleeves. Its lamination film range covers thermal and wet lamination, using heat activation or liquid adhesive respectively. 

Synthetic paper for tags and digital printing

Cosmo describes its synthetic paper range as polypropylene-based material with a paper-like appearance. The company positions it for tags, labels, commercial printing and identification applications where water resistance and durability matter.

The range also includes CSP DigiLux-MW, which Cosmo describes as a higher-whiteness option for digital applications, including powder-toner printing. Earlier coverage of CSP DigiLux-MW’s launch provides background on that product. 

Building on an existing US presence

The exhibition follows Cosmo Films’ previously announced US slitting capacity expansion at its Carol Stream warehouse in the Chicago area. That investment provides context for the company’s North American focus, rather than evidence of sales generated at this show.

For prospective buyers, the useful conversation is about the exact grade and printing process: which substrate suits the application, what technical documentation supports it and how the supplier will fulfil the order.
