OBITUARY: Mukul Traders Founder Bimal Agarwal passes away
19 September 2023: He expired at the age of 60 years on 14th 2023 September at Raipur, Chattisgarh and is fondly remembered as one the pioneers in spreading and developing the screen printing industry
It is with deep sadness that members of the screen printing industry mourn the passing way of Bimal Agarwal, the Founder of Mukul Traders. He expired at the age of 60 years on September 14th, 2023 at Raipur, Chattisgarh. Mukul Traders commenced business in the year 1990 as suppliers and distributors of screen, offset printing inks materials, paper products and accessories. Looking at the expanding printing industry scope he had gradually expanded into the supply of offset printing inks, materials & paper related products as well. Now, the business is being taken care by his son Jayant with the reins having been handed over to the NextGen after his demise.
Fondly remembered as one the pioneers in spreading and developing the screen printing industry in the Chattisgarh region, Bimal Agarwal had started the business of printing materials 33 years ago when there was not muck information or knowledge about the printing process in Central India. He conducted a number of educational seminars and also helped in organising printing exhibitions in Raipur so that the printing industry in the region will get more exposed to the new developments and the young generation of entrepreneurs can also be encouraged to join this segment.
He was known for having a very joyful nature and always being ready to help printers with technical guidance based upon his experience and expertise in the printing industry. He developed a very good reputation over the years and his name is taken with reverence in the printing industry as a role model worth emulating because of his ethical business practices.
The screen printing industry will always miss Bimal Agarwal and his memorable contributions over the decades. We pray to the almighty, to give his family the strength to bear his loss. Om Shanti!
