HEXIS PPF World Series Final Set for 23–24 September in France

22 September 2026: HEXIS has scheduled the inaugural PPF World Series Grand Final for 23-24 September 2026 in Frontignan, France. International qualifiers will compete in timed film-installation challenges for prizes worth EUR 17,500. The event puts application quality under scrutiny, testing how accurately installers handle demanding vehicle surfaces under competition conditions.

PPF World Series moves from qualifiers to the final

HEXIS announced the first edition on 20 April 2026. Its qualifying programme spans European and international markets, with the current schedule listing events in Sweden, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Australia, the United States, Spain, France and Denmark. The Middle East entry remains marked to be confirmed.

What will finalists have to install?

The amended rules distinguish the Grand Final from the five-surface national qualifying format. On the first day, finalists face four timed tasks:

• Rear light: BLACKLIGHT film, with 15 minutes allowed.
• Front wing: BODYFENCEXM film, with 20 minutes allowed.
• Half bumper: BODYXFAST film, with 30 minutes allowed.
• Wing mirrors and front wing: CANDYFENCE film, with 40 minutes allowed.

The three highest-scoring competitors advance to a single event the following day. HEXIS will announce its surface and product on the day; the rules set a target time of three hours for an application across several complex body parts.

The inclusion of CANDYFENCE also brings coloured film into the final. 

Judging and prizes

HEXIS-appointed application professionals will assess bubbles, contamination, cut precision, positioning, excessive film tension and detachment. Installation time will decide ties, so speed alone will not determine the ranking.

The winner will receive EUR 10,000 by bank transfer. Second place earns EUR 5,000 in BODYFENCE order credit, while third place receives EUR 2,500 in credit. The EUR 17,500 total therefore combines money and product credit rather than representing an all-cash prize pool.
