Sharp to Preview Presses at PRINTING United 2026
28 July 2026: Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA), a division of Sharp Electronics Corporation will bring its production print range to PRINTING United Expo 2026, set for September 23-25 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, NV, USA.
Sharp plans to exhibit at booth N6960. The firm said visitors will see its Digital Production Press Series together in one place for the first time and get an early look at two new colour production models that have not yet been named.
What Sharp plans to show
Sharp said both upcoming colour presses will run standard CMYK plus specialty toners such as gold, silver, white, pink, clear and textured paper toner. The company framed the previews as a route for commercial printers and other production sites to add higher-value embellishment work.
The existing Digital Production Press Series already includes colour and monochrome systems. Sharp’s business site lists the BP-1200C four-colour and BP-1200S six-colour presses, plus the BP-1250M and BP-1360M monochrome models. Product pages for the colour presses already support specialty options including gold, silver, pink, white, clear and textured paper toner, with speeds of up to 120 pages per minute on the colour units and up to 136 ppm on the faster monochrome model.
At the stand, Sharp also said visitors can review digital embellishment and workflow tools, meet production specialists and hear about third-party partner tie-ups. That partner push follows a July 16 announcement with Duplo USA on off-line finishing and embellishment for the BP-1200S platform, covering raised spot UV, foil and related effects.
“PRINTING United provides an ideal opportunity for customers, partners and industry professionals to see how Sharp’s production print portfolio continues to evolve,” said Dino Pagliarello, Vice President of Product Management and Production Print at SIICA. He said the company wants to show specialty toner, workflow automation and partner solutions aimed at higher value applications.
