Printing South China 2027 and Sino-Label Plan Smart Factory Zone
05 November 2026: Printing South China 2027 and Sino-Label plan live connected-production displays and smart-label technologies on 4–6 March 2027 at Area A of the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou, China. The programme will give printers and packaging converters a view of automated workflows alongside equipment and materials. The exhibitions follow the 2026 Guangzhou edition and will run alongside Sino-Pack and PACKINNO.
Printing South China 2027: connected production
The planned Smart Factory 4.0 Zone will connect pre-press scheduling, digital and hybrid printing, finishing and internal logistics in a working production line, according to the organisers.
Cloud-based systems will pass job parameters to production equipment, while presses will monitor colour consistency. The proposed finishing stage combines in-line die-cutting, laser finishing and automatic inspection; automated guided vehicles and robotic arms will move completed jobs to storage.
The organiser also describes production dashboards showing overall equipment effectiveness, material consumption and job status. The demonstration will cover automated waste stripping and loading, as well as file handling, to illustrate how production data and machinery work together.
Digital printing displays will also address small-batch jobs and short turnaround times.
Packaging materials and converting
Packaging materials will span biodegradable, lightweight, high-barrier and recycled substrates, according to the official Printing South China programme. A Paper Container Packaging Zone will address lightweight, recyclable and biodegradable formats for applications including food, beverages and electronics.
Separate sections will cover flexible packaging technology and corrugated production equipment. The post-press and packaging-processing pavilion will focus on automated equipment and digital control.
Sino-Label: finishing and traceability
Sino-Label’s published programme pairs digital label printing for customised, short-run work with digital post-press. Its finishing section lists inspection, web guiding, die-cutting, cold stamping and waste removal.
The planned label applications include logistics, in-mould and temperature-change labels.
The Green Label Materials section will cover films, foils, paper, self-adhesive materials and inks. An environmental flexography zone will address processes intended to save energy and reduce emissions, according to the organiser.
Radio-frequency identification (RFID) will have a dedicated zone covering production processes and applications. The RFID programme includes flip-chip bonding machinery, inlays and high-speed encoding units.
A separate Anti-counterfeiting Traceability Zone will present security materials, devices and labels, alongside traceability and smart packaging.
