Xerox to Offer Xeikon Digital Presses Under Its Own Brand
07 September 2026: Xerox Holdings Corporation and Flint Group Digital Xeikon announced a strategic partnership on 1 September 2026 in Norwalk, Connecticut, USA. The Xerox Xeikon partnership will put digital presses based on Xeikon technology onto Xerox sales and service channels, sold under the Xerox brand rather than as a Xeikon-labelled machine.
Flint Group Digital Xeikon (FGDX) said Xerox will offer those presses through its established sales and service network. Xerox said it will pair the machines with the Xerox Production Ecosystem, including distribution, workflow software, finishing, remote services, and global support.
FGDX is the digital press business Flint Group placed inside Flint Group Packaging Solutions in 2026, a change set out at Xeikon Innovation Days 2026. The Xerox pact is a distribution move on top of that structure, not a factory story and not yet a product brochure.
What the Xerox Xeikon partnership covers
Xerox wants the added presses to open work in digital packaging, labels, and commercial print, which it called high-growth segments. That is a company claim, not an independent ranking attached to this announcement. Xeikon’s version is simpler: Xerox-branded presses, Xeikon engines, Xerox people on the install and the service call. Converters in labels and packaging still need to see which of those jobs the first unit is actually built for.
Walter Benz, President of Flint Group Digital Xeikon, said “We are pleased to see Xerox bring our solutions to market through its channels. This partnership will make Xeikon’s proven technology accessible to more printers, enabling them to grow their businesses and respond more effectively to changing market demands.”
“This partnership represents an important milestone in the evolution of the Xerox production print business,” said Terry Antinora, President of Global Production Print Services at Xerox. “By combining Flint Group Digital Xeikon digital press technology with the Xerox Production Ecosystem, we are delivering a complete production platform that helps print providers increase productivity, unlock new applications, and drive profitable growth.”
How Xerox will sell and service the first press
The first machine will be sold and serviced by Xerox, carry the Xerox name, and ship with Xerox-developed software, integration, and service tools. Both companies said availability and product specifications will be announced in the coming months.
Xerox said the addition will sit beside current flagships in its digital press portfolio: the Xerox Iridesse Production Press, Xerox Proficio PX500 and PX300 Presses, Xerox IJP900 Inkjet Press, and Xerox PrimeLink printers and presses. Those products are listed on Xerox’s site today.
Xerox has used this go-to-market shape before. In 2025 it signed a Xerox Kyocera inkjet agreement to source cut-sheet inkjet presses, then sell and service them under the Xerox name with Xerox software. The Xeikon deal follows the same branded-channel pattern, with Flint Group Digital Xeikon as the technology source this time.
What shops should wait to see
Xeikon said printers need help with shorter runs, faster turnaround, versioning, and higher-value jobs. That is the everyday case for short-run digital printing: fewer plates, quicker job changes, variable data. That doesn’t prove this still-unnamed Xerox press will be the right tool for a given label or carton job.
