Asia Coat Ink Show 2026 Set for 17-19 December in Mumbai

16 October 2026: Asia Coat + Ink Show 2026 will take place on 17-19 December 2026 at Hall II, Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon (East), Mumbai. Organised by the All India Printing Ink Manufacturers’ Association Ltd. (AIPIMA), the 14th edition will connect ink and coatings businesses with raw-material, equipment and testing suppliers.

An International Conference on 16 December 2026 will precede the exhibition. AIPIMA identifies Shekhar Iyer as its president, Manoj Biyani as exhibition chairman and Inderjit Singh Aiden as conference chairman. An advisory committee of industry professionals also supports the event.

Asia Coat Ink Show 2026: materials and machinery

The organiser’s published industry profile covers printing inks, paints and coatings alongside pigments, dyes, resins, binders, additives, specialty chemicals and solvents. It also includes raw-material traders, importers and distributors, giving purchasing teams a reason to look beyond finished ink products when planning their visit.

For formulators, the material categories provide a starting point for discussions about colour development, dispersion and compatibility. Screen Print India’s coverage of additives for printing inks offers related background on dispersing and wetting agents.

Machinery categories include mixers, dispersers, reactors and mills, together with filling, packing and labelling equipment. The profile also lists automation, process-control systems, material handling and storage equipment. Buyers can use those categories to prepare questions about batch sizes, changeovers and integration with existing production lines.

Packaging and logistics form another part of the profile. The organiser lists drums, plastic buckets, barrels, IBC containers and flexible packaging, alongside storage and warehousing providers. Visitors responsible for both formulation and factory operations can therefore use the event to investigate raw-material sourcing and the containers or handling arrangements needed around production. Packaging design and branding suppliers also appear in the published categories.

Laboratory testing and colour control

Laboratory instruments, analytical equipment, research technologies and colour-measurement systems form another part of the organiser’s stated scope. These categories make the exhibition relevant to quality-control and development teams as well as purchasing departments.

When comparing phone-based colour measurement with other testing options, visitors should ask how suppliers handle reference samples, colour libraries and comparisons with printed output. Bringing a specific production problem can make a supplier discussion more useful than a general request for the newest instrument.

Environmental equipment and formulation choices

The official profile includes air-pollution control, effluent treatment, waste management and recycling businesses. These are defined equipment and service categories; the listing does not establish environmental certification for individual exhibitors or products.

For buyers reviewing water-based screen printing inks, useful questions concern substrate compatibility, drying requirements and handling instructions. Such comparisons should rely on product documentation rather than broad claims about greener production.

Who should plan a visit?

AIPIMA’s intended audience includes packaging and publication printers, textile and specialty printing businesses, coating manufacturers and chemical suppliers. Its application categories also extend to automotive, industrial, protective and decorative coatings.

The published profile describes the event’s intended scope, not a confirmed list of brands, machine models or demonstrations. The product reports linked here provide technical background; they do not confirm those companies’ participation. Visitors should distinguish the conference date from the three exhibition days when arranging meetings and travel.
