Avery Dennison Sets Label and RFID Agenda for LOUPE India 2026

17 October 2026: Avery Dennison South Asia has announced plans to exhibit labeling and packaging materials at LOUPE India 2026, running from October 29 to November 1 at India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida. The company will focus on traceability, compliance and packaging performance at Hall 9, Booth C15.

What Avery Dennison plans for LOUPE India 2026

The event organiser says the show, formerly Labelexpo India, covers labels alongside flexible packaging, inline carton converting and smart-label technologies. Screen Print India’s earlier LOUPE India registration coverage explains that wider scope for converters.

Avery Dennison’s dedicated exhibition page identifies five areas for its stand:

  • Retail and FMCG: premium label materials for food and beverages, beauty, home and personal care, and wine and spirits.
  • Pharmaceuticals: tamper-evident materials, low-migration adhesives for small-diameter vials and labeling options for moist surfaces.
  • Intelligent labels: RFID and NFC technologies for digital identification and supply-chain applications.
  • Durable applications: films for automotive, semiconductor and electronics uses, including high-temperature environments.
  • Recycling and reuse: wash-off adhesives that the company says can support plastic recovery.

The company also plans live demonstrations and discussions with technical specialists. These remain pre-event plans; the exhibition has not yet taken place.

The retail focus follows Avery Dennison’s earlier Premium Labels launch in India, which introduced textured substrates. That range provides background to its work on label appearance, but the current exhibition page does not identify individual commercial grades.

Traceability, compliance and circularity

Saurabh Agarwal, Vice President and General Manager, Materials Group, Avery Dennison South Asia, said labels now serve functions beyond product identification. He pointed to traceability, consumer engagement, compliance and circularity as priorities for the industry.

Jitesh Mehta, Senior Director, Marketing, Label & Packaging Materials, South Asia, said brands across the region are paying more attention to packaging performance, transparency and sustainability. Avery Dennison positions its materials and digital identification technologies as ways to address those demands.

Digital identification also features in the company’s RFID garment-sorting pilot in Europe. That separate project offers background on traceability and end-of-life information; it does not establish what the company will demonstrate at LOUPE India.

What should converters ask at the stand?

Visitors comparing materials can ask which container surfaces each adhesive supports and what testing backs its use in the intended environment. A label for a small pharmaceutical vial raises different questions from a film for automotive or electronics applications.

For recycling-related products, the practical follow-up is whether the label and adhesive suit the pack’s recovery process. Brands considering RFID or NFC can ask what information the digital identity carries and how they would use it in their existing systems.
