Brother Introduces GTX300NC Hybrid DTG/DTF Printer With Faster Output and Simpler Operation

25 July 2026: Brother has introduced the GTX300NC, a high-speed hybrid garment printer built for direct-to-garment (DTG) and cut-sheet direct-to-film (DTF) production. The new model combines redesigned print heads, a faster carriage system, magnetic DTF film mounting and a 7-inch colour touchscreen. It is aimed at print shops and apparel businesses that need higher daily output without making operation and maintenance harder.

Faster print production ..

Brother lists approximate print times of 41 seconds for CMYK printing on light garments and 63 seconds for CMYK plus white printing on dark garments.

A cut-sheet DTF print takes approximately 76 seconds. Actual times will vary by artwork, print size and settings.

The speed gain comes from newly developed print heads and a faster carriage drive. The GTX300NC also retains Brother’s One-Pass

Function, which prints white and colour inks during the same head scan instead of using separate passes.
Built for DTG and DTF work ..

Print shops can print directly onto cotton garments or produce DTF transfers for polyester, blended fabrics, workwear and other materials.

For DTF jobs, magnets hold the film in place on supported platens. This replaces the usual tape-based setup, making film placement quicker and cutting handling during repeat jobs.

Brighter whites with cleaner edges ..

The updated GTX Graphics Lab software includes a new control for white-ink output. It produces brighter, crisper white layers while limiting colour bleed.

On dark garments, this means stronger white opacity, sharper contrast and cleaner edges around printed artwork.
Guided operation and maintenance ..

A 7-inch colour touchscreen displays illustrated, step-by-step instructions for daily maintenance, cleaning, troubleshooting and part replacement.

The front-facing layout keeps routine access on the operator side of the printer. This can help in tighter production areas and multi-printer setups.

For shops already using Brother’s GTX line, the GTX300NC focuses on three practical gains: faster printing, quicker DTF film setup and clearer on-printer guidance for operators.
