Drytac PrintDuo Launch Brings Two-Sided Film to Window Graphics

24 October 2026: Drytac announced the worldwide launch of PrintDuo on 21 October 2026, introducing an adhesive-free film for double-sided window graphics and promotional displays. The white matte material supports different messages on each face, allowing businesses to address customers looking into a shop window and those looking out.

The launch adds a non-adhesive option alongside self-adhesive media such as ReTac Clear PET film, which Drytac supplies with a removable, repositionable adhesive. PrintDuo instead needs a separate mounting adhesive for installation on glass.

Drytac PrintDuo specifications and print compatibility

According to Drytac’s PrintDuo product specifications, the material is a nominal 10 mil (250-micron), multilayer polypropylene/polyester film. It supports eco-solvent, latex/resin and UV printing, giving wide-format printers several production options.

Drytac reports 99.9% opacity and says this prevents artwork on one face from showing through to the other. The company also says the film’s construction helps resist curling and roll memory during printing, finishing and installation. These are manufacturer performance claims.

The intended applications include seasonal retail promotions, directional signs and branded window displays. Printers can put an outward-facing offer on one side and a different message on the inward-facing side, rather than repeat the same artwork in both directions.

Separate adhesives provide different mounting options

Drytac identifies SpotOn Duo, WindowTac and ReTac Duo as compatible mounting adhesives. The choice determines how installers apply, reposition and eventually remove the finished graphic.

The SpotOn Duo mounting adhesive uses a removable dot pattern. Drytac says installers can apply it across the graphic’s full width or in strips, with the pattern supporting repositioning and bubble-free application.

WindowTac provides a clear adhesive without a visible dot pattern. The company describes it as an option for straightforward installation and residue-free removal.

For dry installation, ReTac Duo mounting adhesive uses Drytac’s ultra-removable adhesive technology. The manufacturer says it allows long-term, residue-free removal; unlike a wet-application system, it requires no installation fluid.

Display uses beyond windows

Drytac also lists point-of-purchase signage, hanging displays, roll-up banners, exhibition graphics and promotional materials among PrintDuo’s applications. The film can serve as standalone double-sided display media or pair with a mounting adhesive for window graphics.
