I am a print technology expert on a mission to transform India’s printing industry. For 24 years, I’ve helped build CDC Printers from a simple accounting firm into a global printing powerhouse with over 130+ awards. But today, I’m excited about something bigger than awards. After witnessing how sustainability drives global markets, I’m leading CDC Printers into a new era. We’re building a groundbreaking facility near Ahmedabad that will showcase what sustainable printing can be.
On June 4th, 2025, we performed a puja for our new Ahmedabad facility. But before any foundation was laid, before any machines arrived, we planted 11 saplings across the factory area. While our machines are still being installed, our commitment to building India’s most sustainable print factory remains unwavering. Every decision we’re making reinforces this vision.
Our sustainability roadmap includes FSC-certified papers, ‘Green’ building design, 100% Rainwater harvesting system to save water, 100% solar-powered operations that will eliminate our dependence on grid electricity (coming soon) and zero liquid discharge systems to ensure that not a single drop of contaminated water leaves our facility.
The puja blessed our new beginning, and those trees represent our future. They’ll grow alongside our factory, reminding us daily that business growth and environmental protection aren’t opposing forces. They’re partners in creating something meaningful.

A forward-thinking chartered accountant and an ardent cricket fan with no background of printing, defied odds to transform CDC into one of Kolkata’s fastest growing and among the most respected printing houses.
