HeyGears G1X Brings Full-Color 3D and UV Printing to Desktop Creators

10 July 2026: HeyGears has introduced the G1X, a desktop production system that combines full-color 3D printing, raised texture printing and 2D UV printing in one machine. The company is positioning the G1X for makers, studios, designers, small businesses and custom-product sellers who want finished color output without separate painting or UV-printing workflows.

At a Glance ….
– Product: HeyGears G1X desktop full-color 3D and UV printer
– Main uses: full-color 3D models, 3D textures and 2D UV printing
– Reservation: USD 50 deposit offer listed on HeyGears’ store
– Materials: HeyGears says the UV mode supports 400+ compatible substrates

The G1X addresses a common problem in desktop fabrication: color. Multi-color FDM printing can be wasteful and limited in surface detail, while resin printing often delivers fine detail but usually needs hand painting. HeyGears says the G1X uses a digital material jetting workflow with UV curing to build color directly into printed models and surfaces.

In 3D printing mode, the G1X can produce full-color models and deep-relief prints using a dedicated material set that includes CMYK, dual white, water-soluble support and transparent material. This gives creators a way to produce painted-looking miniatures, character models, architectural samples, terrain pieces and transparent-color objects with less post-processing.

For UV work, the same platform functions as a flatbed printer for surface customization. HeyGears lists an 8-channel ink system, up to 1440 × 2400 DPI resolution and compatibility with more than 400 substrates, including metal, acrylic, wood, leather and ceramics. Its 3D texture mode can build raised effects up to 10 mm, although the company recommends 5 mm or less for better quality and stability.

The G1X also uses an Epson i3200 printhead with 3,200 nozzles and 3.9 pL droplets. HeyGears claims up to 3X faster UV printing than desktop UV printers using a single F1080/XP600 printhead; that speed claim is based on the company’s internal testing. The printer also includes printhead heating, white ink agitation, auto-cleaning and automatic nozzle moisturizing to reduce clogging and maintenance interruptions.

Software support comes through HeyVerse and Blueprint Studio, with 500+ curated assets, text-to-3D and image-to-3D generation, and line-scan imaging for automatic object positioning and design alignment.

HeyGears has opened deposit reservations ahead of a planned Kickstarter launch. The current store listing shows a USD 50 deposit offer, early-bird pricing benefits and a free 300 ml white UV ink offer for qualifying 48-hour launch orders.
