PROPACK Odisha 2027: Explore Packaging, Printing, Plastics and Food Processing

29 October 2026: PROPACK Odisha 2027 will run from 25-28 February 2027 at Janata Maidan in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Organiser Odisha Assembly of Small and Medium Enterprises (OASME) has announced a four-day exhibition connecting machinery and material suppliers with manufacturers and buyers across packaging, printing and related industries.

The organiser identifies the event as its fourth edition and lists six sectors: packaging, printing, plastics, processing, paper and green energy. Plans include a B2B trade exhibition, a four-day conference programme and structured buyer–seller meetings.

Screen Print India previously reported on Sai Kamal Prints’ participation in the 2022 edition, offering a Bhubaneswar printer’s account of the event.

PROPACK Odisha 2027: machinery and materials

According to the official sector catalogue, packaging coverage includes rigid and flexible materials, corrugated box machinery, films, laminates and end-of-line automation. Plastics coverage lists injection moulding, blow moulding, extrusion and film-production equipment.

For printing businesses, the organiser lists printing presses and inks, as well as labels, coding and marking technologies. Its scope is relevant to converters assessing equipment for label and packaging printing, while the paper segment covers pulp manufacturing, paper production, converting and finishing lines.

Processing coverage includes food-production and filling equipment, refrigeration, cold-chain systems and food-safety facilities. This gives food manufacturers a reason to examine the event alongside packaging converters, rather than treating it solely as a printing machinery exhibition.

Green energy joins the exhibition’s scope

The green energy segment covers energy-efficiency, solar and utility solutions. Its inclusion puts energy use alongside production equipment and material choices within the exhibition’s stated remit.

For paper-packaging converters, related material developments include water-based barrier coatings. Such technologies provide context for evaluating packaging materials; the sector descriptions do not confirm that any particular supplier or product will appear at the 2027 event.

Conferences and buyer–seller meetings

OASME says the conference and meeting programme will connect manufacturers, technology suppliers, processors, converters and trade buyers from Odisha, eastern India and beyond. The planned format gives regional businesses opportunities to compare equipment and discuss supply relationships, without implying that orders or investment are assured.

Who is the exhibition for?

The organiser identifies manufacturers, processors, procurement teams and entrepreneurs as prospective visitors. For food businesses, the catalogue specifically names dairy, meat, fish and seafood processing machinery, alongside hygiene and quality-control laboratories.

Plastics businesses can review a scope that also includes polymer raw materials, resins, thermoforming machines, woven sacks and bulk-packaging solutions. The packaging catalogue additionally lists containers, corrugation plants and palletising equipment, while the plastics list includes blown and cast film lines.

Exhibitor and visitor registration are available through the official event website. Businesses can use the published contact routes to check participation arrangements before committing travel or scheduling supplier meetings. Visitors considering machinery upgrades should also confirm individual exhibitors’ participation and technical specifications before arranging demonstrations.

A day for women entrepreneurs

OASME also plans a She’Builds Odisha day dedicated to women entrepreneurs. According to the organiser, the programme will feature women industry leaders, financing institutions and skill partners, together with a curated buyer–seller session for women-owned enterprises.
