Syrma SGS Elemaster Opens Bengaluru Electronics Plant

05 September 2026: The Syrma SGS Elemaster Joint Venture has officially inaugurated its new state-of-the-art high-reliability electronics manufacturing facility of 20,000 sq ft in the Bommasandra Industrial Area and the facility is equipped with advanced Surface Mount Technology (SMT), Through-Hole Technology (THT) and box-build assembly lines. The facility has been established to address the growing demand for high-reliability electronics across sectors including railways and transportation, industrial electronics, energy and medical electronics, while enabling the joint venture to support global OEMs with high-quality manufacturing in India.

The inauguration marked a significant milestone in the joint venture’s efforts to build advanced electronics manufacturing capabilities in India and support customers across domestic and global markets, particularly in sectors where quality, reliability and stringent manufacturing standards are critical.

What Syrma SGS Elemaster Bengaluru will make

Elemaster says the plant is equipped with surface-mount, through-hole and box-build assembly lines for railways and transport, industrial electronics, energy and medical electronics. Dr. Giandomenico Milano, Consul General of Italy in Bengaluru, attended, according to the company, with customers and other guests. The programme included a plant address by Valentina Cogliati, CEO of Elemaster S.p.A.

Sandeep Tandon, Executive Chairman of Syrma SGS, said the site is meant to pair Syrma SGS manufacturing scale with Elemaster engineering. Jasbir Singh Gujral, Managing Director of Syrma SGS, said SMT, THT and box-build under one roof would support complex work. Cogliati said India is an important market for Elemaster and its global customers.

Elemaster lists Syrma SGS Elemaster (P) Ltd. among its Asia sites. Its location page still marks ISO 9001:2015 as in progress, so the plant should not be described as ISO-certified. The companies gave no investment figure, job count, annual capacity or commercial-production start date. The correct status is inaugurated.

Related Screen Print India coverage includes Syrma’s Andhra Pradesh PCB plant, SEMICON India 2026, and the Schweizer-Ascent PCB cooperation.
