SJS thanked its Quality Circle teams, team members, mentors and leaders for their contribution to the result. The company linked the recognition to continuous improvement, innovation and operational excellence, while placing teamwork at the centre of its announcement.
Employee recognition has featured in earlier company news. Screen Print India reported SJS’s inclusion among the Top 30 manufacturing workplaces in India’s 2026 mid-size category, citing a company statement about its workplace culture.
What is QCFI, and what do its conventions cover?
QCFI stands for Quality Circle Forum of India. Its official profile describes a non-profit organisation established in 1982 to promote quality concepts, help organisations address work-related problems and support employee development.
QCFI’s stated objectives include helping organisations launch and operate Quality Circles within Total Quality Management programmes. It also aims to improve members’ quality of working life and provide opportunities for self-development. These objectives explain the emphasis on employee participation in quality work, rather than treating improvement solely as a management responsibility.
The forum works across industries including automotive manufacturing and textiles. Its activities include training and support for Quality Circles and other quality-management methods, giving the recognition a wider context beyond a company awards announcement.
QCFI says it holds chapter and national conventions each year, where members present case studies and practitioners discuss technical papers. SJS identified its awards as chapter-convention recognition.
On its official quality policy page, SJS says its testing facilities can replicate real-world conditions and help predict product life. The page also includes a separate section on certifications.
Screen Print India’s earlier reporting describes SJS as a decorative aesthetics supplier serving automotive and consumer-appliance customers. Its product range includes decals, instrument dials, overlays and decorated injection-moulded plastic parts.
The publication has also covered SJS’s BOE Varitronix technology agreement for optical bonding and assembly of automotive displays in India. That December 2025 report described planned technology transfer and support for manufacturing, testing and quality control, providing background on a separate area of the company’s manufacturing development.
Earlier coverage of SJS’s Great Place to Work certification recorded the company’s announcement for September 2025 to September 2026. The certification concerned workplace culture, while the QCFI announcement recognised Quality Circle teams. The two forms of recognition address different aspects of the organisation.
