PRINTPACK INDIA 2027: IPAMA Takes Buyer Outreach Abroad
23 October 2026: IPAMA expanded its overseas promotion of PRINTPACK INDIA 2027 at trade exhibitions in Tanzania, Kenya and China during September and October 2026. The campaign aims to attract international buyers and machinery suppliers to the 17th edition, scheduled for 30 January to 3 February 2027 at India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida.
In its 20 October update, the Indian Printing Packaging & Allied Machinery Manufacturers’ Association said its representatives invited exhibitors, technology providers and business delegations to the event. The latest visits follow its earlier IPMEX Malaysia promotional visit.
PRINTPACK INDIA 2027 outreach spans Africa and China
According to IPAMA’s campaign update, manager Vikram Sharma represented the association at Print Pack Sign Expo in Tanzania on 15–17 September 2026 and in Nairobi, Kenya, on 21–23 September 2026. He distributed event information and invited industry visitors to Greater Noida.
IPAMA president K. S. Maan and general secretary Iqbal Singh then attended All in Print China. The official event website confirms its 12–16 October 2026 dates and Shanghai New International Expo Centre venue.
The association said both office-bearers also joined an “India Day” programme to discuss the Indian printing and packaging industry and promote the forthcoming exhibition. IPAMA reported interest from overseas participants, but its update did not give a confirmed delegation count or resulting order value.
Bookings and visitor targets remain distinct
IPAMA says all available exhibition space has been booked, a position it had already announced in an August 2026 release. Screen Print India’s earlier exhibition capacity report provides the preceding booking context.
The October update projects around 600 exhibitors and more than 150,000 business visitors. It puts net exhibition space at approximately 45,195 square metres and gross space at more than 102,000 square metres across 16 halls. These are organiser figures for the forthcoming edition, not final attendance or independently audited results.
Demand began well before the overseas campaign. Screen Print India recorded 335 first-day booking applications on 25 June 2025, accompanied by initial payments. That earlier figure describes the opening booking round, not the current exhibitor total.
What can machinery buyers expect?
The event’s published product profile covers printing presses, finishing and converting equipment, digital printing, signage, packaging machinery, paper products and related logistics. IPAMA’s October update also lists labels, corrugation and textile printing, with a stated focus on equipment suitable for micro, small and medium enterprises.
The campaign update includes pre-press and post-press systems, flexible and paper packaging, consumables, spare parts and software in the planned exhibition mix. For a printer or converter planning a visit, this scope extends the sourcing brief beyond a new press to finishing, packaging production and the supplies needed to run equipment.
K.S. Maan, President, IPAMA, expressed satisfaction over the positive response received during these international promotional activities and stated “PRINTPACK INDIA has emerged as a major platform connecting Indian machinery manufacturers with the global printing and packaging industry. Our sustained international promotional efforts reflect IPAMA’s commitment to expanding the global reach of the exhibition and creating meaningful business opportunities for our exhibitors and visitors. With the entire exhibition space already booked and strong interest being received from overseas markets, we are confident that the 17th edition will establish new benchmarks in technology presentation, international participation and business generation.”
