At a Glance ….
– The event will take place across Halls 2, 3 and 4 at Paris-Le Bourget.
– Texworld covers fabrics and raw materials; Apparel Sourcing focuses on finished garments and accessories; Avantex covers innovation and responsible-fashion solutions.
– Organisers are emphasising more focused sourcing, clearer navigation and supplier diversification.
– New features include a Near Sourcing Hub, Jewellery & Leather area and Outdoor zone.
Messe Frankfurt France says buyers are looking for suppliers that can combine quality, flexibility, pricing and responsive logistics. The layout is intended to help visitors compare suppliers by expertise and end use, including womenswear, casualwear and sportswear.
Texworld will feature international weavers and textile manufacturers, with China, Türkiye, Korea and India among the established producing countries represented. The July briefing also points to a more varied finished-garment offer, with Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Bulgaria among the countries expanding their presence.
Near sourcing is a clear theme. The Near Sourcing Hub, developed with FourSource, is planned to bring together manufacturers from Türkiye, Serbia, Romania and Portugal through a mix of physical exhibits and digital collections. Organisers say the aim is to give buyers quicker access to regional suppliers and shorter lead-time options.
The programme will also expand the product mix. A Jewellery & Leather area, clearer denim positioning and an Outdoor zone linking technical-fabric suppliers with sportswear manufacturers are intended to give buyers more categories to assess in one visit.
Avantex will focus on technology, materials, circularity, traceability and artificial intelligence. Its AI x SPOTT showcase and related Tech Tour are billed as educational features rather than proof that every displayed technology is ready for mass deployment. The programme also includes the Avantex Fashion Pitch, where fashion-technology start-ups will present projects on 31 August.
The show’s conference agenda will cover trends, circularity, artificial intelligence, regulation and changing industry skills. The Threading Circularity Forum, scheduled for 2 September, will examine repair, product lifecycles and European value chains. Final exhibitor numbers, pavilions and programme details can still change before the event opens.
