The New Fogra Training Programme

22 August 2023: Fogra Web Academy opens its digital doors again in September with 60 online sessions for curious minds. On Mondays at 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. CEST, those interested can acquire the basics and specific knowledge. From colour management to printing techniques to finishing, there is something for everyone at the Fogra training.

“I thought I knew a lot, but I learned more by watching these sessions. It’s invaluable, up-to-date knowledge for all serious professionals who want to know more,” says Axel Robert from Ubisoft. That is precisely what the Fogra Web Academy is all about: broad-based knowledge with the expertise of the research institute. Miguel Avellaneda from Giesecke + Devrient Mobile Security Iberia also confirms this: “Fogra Web Academy allows us to add science to production processes, stay up to date and advance from a global point of view. Learning more about materials, processes and production techniques allows us to have better results and be more sustainable.” The range of topics is vast, so participants can look beyond their horizons. In addition to the wide range of issues – from plastic cards to AI, 3D and textile printing and the relevance to the industry, easy access is what makes the online offer so unique: No matter when, no matter where – the participants can attend the event live online or watch the recording afterwards. Travel costs and travel time are thus eliminated. Another advantage: the more employees participate, the lower the costs per person. This is because the Web Academy is designed as a company flat rate. No matter how many employees from a company take part, the total price remains the same.
